1979 Air King Question

I have a 1979 air king that does not have "precision" written on the dial. Could anybody address the reasoning behind this? Sorry for the bad photo. It's the only one I have currently on my computer.

Thank you

Some had precision text, others didn't. There are far fewer without it, but doesn't mean it rare.

That's easy to do on a non-date watch. Someone flipped the dial.
