Wear your sub to bed? Pros/cons

Who wears their sub to bed? Any negatives save for imprinting the face on the face of your wife or girlfriend?

Have worn my watch 24/7 for the last 42 years, I had my first watch for my
5th birthday.
When I shared a bed, I don't think I clunked her with it, however, I was often clouted by her, she says for my snoring, now, A few years single, I'm not so sure.

When I was 17 and had a $30 Timex, I wore it 24/7. That habit has remained.

Unnecessary wear and tear. You don't need to know what time it is when you're sleeping. Unless you're sleeping in a very unfamiliar environment, you might as well take it off.

Only if I think the girl laying next to me might steal it before I wake up.

I usually take it off but sometimes forget. If I'm traveling it doesn't leave my wrist.

Was'nt funny at the time but have been there and done that many years ago with a Speedmaster 125, a huge chunk of metal, left quite the bump on the cranium.

We both laugh about it now, but no more sleeping with a watch on !

I used to not wear one, but when I got my first Rolex I was traveling every week due to work and would sleep with it so I wouldn't forget it at the hotel in the morning. Habit stuck and now I always sleep with my SD and comes in handy in the middle off the night to see the time.

It's easier for me to raise my arm to look at time than to turn around, and reach to the dresser knocking things down looking for phone to look at time. No alarm clock as I don't like sleeping with light.

If I need to tell time in the middle of the night, I'll find a cable box =)

Honestly, I even take off my wedding band. I like to sleep "skinny"

I wear my watches all the time except to the shower. All my watches go on rotation and whenever I sleep, I wear my 2 most expensive pieces to bed. In case of a fire or earthquake or emergency of any sort, I can quickly dash out of the house or hotel room and know that I at least saved 2 pieces. I try to keep just 4 to 5 pieces out of the bank's vault room to minimize any losses.

Daytime hours at the office in long sleeves, I try my best to wear 2 pieces as much as I can. The exercise does a lot of good for the watches.

I like wearing a luminous watch to bed, if I wake up in the middle of the night, it's worth having something quick to glance at to find out the time. No downsides, unless you tend to flail in your sleep!
