New Rolex Owner

Hey all,

I'm new to this forum but feel I'll be visiting quite frequently now that I just bought a SS Daytona with the Black Face from an Authorized Dealer. I absolutely love this watch! I'm 18 so I'm just starting to look at all of this watch information and its kind of overwhelming.

Thanks for many future years of information!!

Its a Rolex watch with the chronograph cal 4130 44 jewel movement that was first introduced in 2000 has has remained unchanged till present day.Now when introduced it was the first movement to use the parachrom hairspring. But back then it was more of a grey colour now its blue by some chemical process. The movement has a power reserve of around 72 hours on a full manual wind thats about 60 full crown turns clockwise only and you cannot over wind it.
