Waiting until Basel 2013 to decide next watch?

Anyone else waiting until Basel to buy their next watch?
I feel stuck in gear..until I hear the new models.
I thought I wanted a 42mm Polar but I want the glidelock.
I thought I wanted a PO Ti but I want 42mm PO Ti LM 8500.
Maybe the Pelgos but lets see if it is coming to the US. I assume prices will come down.

Yeah, I am waiting to hear what happens at Basel too. I do the same thing with Apple. When we are this close I figure I might as well wait.
I have been thinking more about the Pelagos too, after last weekend I thought I would not want it, but it keeps haunting me. I doubt the price in Canada will come down if it is announced in the US though.

At least with Apple, their new products are out within a couple of weeks of being announced. When did the Sky-Dweller and Blue YM finally hit stores? Even now, some ADs don't have them and don't know when or even if they will get them. If you are looking now, go ahead and buy. With the inevitable price increase, you won't be out much and might even make some money.

I am interested to see what's coming, but realistically Basel watches won't come out till the end of the year, if your lucky, as we are such a bunch of enablers....buy what you want now and get another in 10 months

From what I read the Tudor AD's in Canada are doing a brisk business with US customers. I too have been thinking about the Pelagos, but since I'm not an early adopter I can pull the trigger anytime I find the right deal. As we all know Rolex new models often disappoint but the new Tudors have had a few years of exciting additions, it will be interesting to see if that continues.

It will be interesting to see how the AD's will be distributed. We have a Rolex, Tag, Cartier, Breitling and a soon to open Omega and Hublot AD's in one mall. The Breitling, Rolex and Tag one's are usually packed. I think the Omega one will be as well. I wonder if they will sell in the Rolex boutique or have their one. I have a feeling if they have their own Tudor store that it too will be usually full of potential buyers. The Rolex boutique I don't think is large enough to carry the Tudor line. Mayors in the same mall runs the Rolex boutique, maybe they will get to carry Tudor. Can't wait to see.
