Does Rolex professional cleaning exist or is it part of the watch service ?
How long after purchase should I bring my submariner to clean or service?

Any recommendations in London, UK?

Wash in soap and water when dirty or as much as you like.

Get a soft toothbrush & some dishwashing soap with warm water. Finish off with a nice microfiber cloth. That's all you need.

With tap water, regular hand soap and an old toothbrush you'll get unbeatable results.

some ADs have great steam cleaners it really gets all the gunk out :)

Rolex does a clean and polish at normal routine service time only at 5-7 years intervals depending how watch is used and in what environments. As today most Rolex watches get quite a pampered life all that's needed in-between normal routine service is regular washing in plain old soap and water and thats all the Rolex recommends themselves.

A long while back...not sure where...I heard about using a soft toothbrush with toothpaste to clean jewelry. I've been doing it with my wife's rings and they look great. I'm sure the results with soap are about the same.

Tooth paste might be a bit abrasive I think on PCL's, especially gold ?

There are abrasive toothpastes for sure...I'm careful not to use those. You can take a bit of the paste and rub it between your fingers and feel if there's grit/abrasive in it.
