Sub "hulk" or ss & gold?
It's going to be my first purchase & I always wanted the sub with SA & gold with blue bezel....then recently have started liking "the hulk". It seems like the hulk is almost the same price, if not more 2nd hand....
So which do you prefer out of the 2? |

They're both beauties. I had that same dilemma.

I have the "Hulk" and absolutely love it. But everytime i see the 116613LB I get this sinking feeling in my wallet.
It's going to be a difficult choice for you, but you can't go wrong with either one. |

I have both of these watches and they are both beautiful examples of Rolex quality.
If I had to let one go it would be the Hulk as the two tone is a touch more beautiful in my opinion. If I wear only the LVc for a month or so the green can get a bit tiring and I would not want it as my only watch. Assume you are looking at the 16613 when you mention the pricing comparison. Good luck deciding. |

I'd say go with the TT if you dress up often. If you mostly dress casually, then Hulk it is. While both can be used for either situation, this is a good way to help decide IMO.

Also, I know this isn't the same but have you thought about getting a black dial 16610 Sub and also the older 16613 blue dial sub? You could probably get both for the same price as one new Hulk or TT Sub. They aren't the same but this would give you two very nice and similar pieces. Just an idea...

Dazzle,
If you like a bit of Gold, get the TT. Note i have had a Sub C TT (Blue dial) for 2 months and love it but the Gold bits pick up scratches alot easier than steel. If you want a watch that you will wear all the time, i think the Hulk. Everyone's choice is THEIR choice. Lucky for us that if you have any issues the Rolex Service Centre is not far away ! |

two tone
Recently bought my first new rolex and i had more dilemmas of which is best for me.I took my decision after trying at least six models/variations of subs and djii! My suggestion is to try both ss and two tone and decide which feels better for you. For me it was the sub 116613ln
