93160 'Bucherer' AD Re-Finish

Hi guys - I just thought I'd post some fresh pics today of the 93160 which belongs to my E-serial 16600 (1990). I have recently had the watch movement completely overhauled at another Zurich Rolex AD (Beyer), in-house, and, although I like the light battle scars on the case of the watch, and will keep it in its original unpolished and sharp condition, I wanted to give the bracelet a lift, so here it is, refreshed for spring/summer. I'm very pleased with the result, and for 80.- CHF ($85), not too pricey. Just in case anyone wants to see the front end, there's a dial/bezel shot from 3 days ago as well.

That is a great looking watch! Especially since it is more than twenty years old. Given the patina on the bezel insert, has this been a daily wearer? If so, the bracelet seems to be in excellent condition with no stretch at all - and now it looks as good as new.

Very nice!

Best,

A

Hi - thanks, it's been well worn, for sure. I bought it used last November, and had especially fallen for the creamy patina and faded insert, combined with the sharp case and all-original condition. There was a little laxity in the links of the band, but not a lot, which I had Michael Young take care of, then I got the AD to re-finish it.

I love that watch, the bracelet looks like new, the insert is stunning in it's patina! Thanks for sharing!
