Sports watch with black tie outfit:
Lame. It looks silly on a professional athlete, and far worse when pudgy desk-bound spy-wannabes try to pull off the look. I don't even mind the watch (though it's not my favourite), but it doesn't belong with formal attire. |

I think it looks OK on him.
That he's wearing it with a tuxedo doesn't bother me at all. |

Looks good in a formal situation. I think the Daytona is the most formal of the rolex sport models, IMo

Doesn't look right. Not meaning the watch. Meaning that Roger in a suit just doesn't look right lol.

Is it just me? I dont give a HOOT about Tennis players, UFC fighters and especially Golfers...wearing Rolex watches.
I don't admire or follow professional athletes to track the watches they wear or cereal they eat. |

Tennis? Daytona??
I agree. What urks me the most is, what the hell does Roger Federer have to do with motor racing?!? He's a freakin' tennis player. Bad enough Rolex disgraced the most iconic sports watch of all time after 50 years with chestnut brown and baby blue.

It isn't just you. If you give an athlete or actor enough money, they'll wear your watch.

Good luck to him.
Getting paid a couple of million a year to have a premium brand to be associated with you must mean something. .... though I don't quite get it. |

They probably gave it to him and paid him to wear it. Must be nice.
