Travelling to French Riviera

Hello TRF Familia,

I am travelling to the French Riviera hope I can get some rest as its been a year since I've last travelled. Taking my GMT2 16710 with me, usually I bring a Casio g shock but this year I'm taking my rolex.

Hope to see you guys soon online and will keep intouch.

French Riviera is not Marseille, should be ok regarding number of people wearing expenses watches in this area

What's wrong with Marseille? I'll be travelling there later this year.

Marseille today is like Chicago in the 30's ... but it's a nice place to go anyway.

nothing, assuming you are sticking to the tourist center (old port and surroundings).

the suburbs of marseille have often been in the news in france lately due to gang/mafia drug violence. even there, the violence seems to mostly be of the inter/intra-gang type, not theft.

I have just got back from Frejus, upon where I travelled to Monaco, st tropez and Cannes and I'm pretty sure you will be fine with your Rolex.....I took my steel Daytona and felt very very under dressed lol gold and platinum are definitely par for the course on the riviera.......if you get chance check out the Rolex street clock next to the Carlton in Cannes......
