Fellas,

I was just wondering since I'm a designated skydiver, would it be safe to wear RO when SKYDIVING? Would G-force mess up the movement?

Should there be no problem, I'd love to wear it in my next jump...

Any thoughts / ideas?

Why would you even take the risk wearing a nice watch skydiving?

If the g force is so bad, why are you not worried about yourself?

As gorgeous as a RO is, I don't think it'd complement your jumpsuit well. Maybe try a G-Shock?

I think nothing will happen to it. Air Force pilot's are under severe G-Force and their watches keep running just fine.

If you're a real skydiver, you're probably not going to wear a nice watch like an AP while on a jump: If you make it out of the plane without smashing it on the door or someone's helmut, those buddies of yours are going to steal it from you while on the 3rd point of that 20 way formation. Oops!!!

I would definately wear it for skydiving. The positive side to this is that if your chute doesn't open you can choose to spend your ladt seconds on earth looking at your watch instead of the ground racing towards you.

The only g force you'll experience is if you hit the ground at 125mph...

So, your chute doesn't open. Do you decide to dive head first to the ground as quick as possible, or flatten your body out to and use wind resistance so you can keep your velocity a little bit slower in hopes of surviving with every bone in your body broken?
