Paris - London AP Fun

I was just in Paris this past week and now I am on a layover in London before I head to the US. Naturally I made a point to have a look at a few APs along the way. I have included 1 AP surprise and one non AP surprise.

Enjoy!

Oh perfect, then you can check out all of the watch store in Vegas, and while in Orlando pick up whatever you decide on from DavidSW

Thanks buddy, very nice report.

However, as I read before on TRF, its nearly impossible to get any kind of discount with the LV Ads if you do not already have a relationship with them.

I wouldn't agree with that statement. I am a frequent visitor of Las Vegas. While I do agree it can be hit or miss and somewhat challenging to get a discount, it is not at all unheard of.

Well I only wore it for about half a minute but from what I got, the size was perfect. The blue on the bezel is stunning (much better than in the pics). The bracelet seems very comfortable on the wrist and the dial/bezel combination is just perfect.

In summary, the new YMII is both simple and very elegant. Also it is well balanced to the eyes when considering the many colour combinations.

Beautiful!

Retailing at $17,000 after removing local tax.

It will be available in Autumn as per the sales lady.

I would have said "NASTY" but everyone else here seems to like it so I'll keep my opinion to myself.

$17k at a dealer is where i expected it as a "worst case" if i did a conversion to my local currency .. 95% i am moving my white SS daytona for one!

totallllly different watches, they don't share anything, thus it is absolutely ridiculous to even start a "comparison", which this is not, but since they both are for similar budgets, it begs the question: YM2 SS ... vs .... Millenary 4101 SS .. decisions?

Get the Millenary now and pick up the YM2 in a year or so when they're more discounted/used.

I just happened to be glancing in the window of a dealer on Rodeo drive where they had an all gold version of the YMII and it looked HUGE. I'm not a Rolex aficionado and so can't quote the actual size but if you want a really big watch then it fits the bill. Probably the largest visual of any watch I've seen in a long time.
