ROO bracelet

I'll be honest I'm not too impressed with the ROO bracelet, does anyone else feel the same? The inside edges are sharp and not finished, it doesn't fit well either and the boutique is charging me $215 plus tax for the half link. Other then that love the watch.

sorry to hear it's so unconfortable for you! I do think it looks wonderful on the bracelet, hope you find a solution for it

Sorry to hear that--but I do understand. I prefer the rubber straps personally. Butter soft and extremely comfortable.

I tried bracelet and leather Panda and just never liked it either. To your point neither way comfortable--just my .02.

And yes, the 1.5 link I have to do the same with my RO's, but it does make a difference.

If you end up flipping consider a Diver on rubber or 44mm. Heck even a 15400 or ROC.

One thing you will realize pretty quick over here on the AP side of things--we like to enable quite a bit.

Anytime one leaves an opening for unhappiness, we are more than happy to recommend something "up the line" a few ways...it's just money

In all seriousness I'm glad you love the Panda--it's awesome. Give the rubber strap a shot.

Best,
Paul

It looks great on the Diver strap - maybe try that?

Is the ROO Panda bracelet the same as the one on the 15400?

No...the bracelet for the Offshores is quite different than the classic Royal Oak bracelet.

No, the ROO bracelet has somewhat rounded links and not flat as the RO.

Hope you sort it out, for me the most important thing is comfort, that is why I love Rolex but my 15400 and Diver both are very comfortable too, I had to buy the XS strap on the diver to get there, so you might have to spend some extra cash to get there but it will be worth.

I would pick up a diver buckle, plots, diver rubber strap and maybe the survivor hornback strap as well. Won't be cheap but you'll have the full ability to wear the bracelet or change it up to the lighter and more comfortable rubber strap or the dressier hornback.

Good call to go for the right fit. And, yeah, kinda of lame that AP doesn't give it as part of fitting the watch.

Phew! It should be a lot better once the link is on. It might not even cut into you anymore...

I dig the ROO bracelet; however, I LOVE the finishing on the RO line.

Anthony

I had to add links on my bracelet and it worked great.

For a couple hundred bucks a rubber strap in a nice option - especially in summer time.

Not as easy as your old 312 to change out - but really comfortable.

I often wear my Safari on rubber for new look.

I am having a similar experience with the bracelet on the 15400. Can't get the right fit, will have to order the 1 1/2 link probably (which will not look too good).

In addition, the edges feel sharp, they keep catching the skin (maybe because it is too tight) and surprisingly, the inside of the clasp (the inner cuts on the H looking piece) look very unfinished. Looks like some cost savings went on.

I really miss the Glidelock! Genious!

I just added the 1 1/2 link and the fit changed completely. Feels like silk now. It does break the symmetry of the bracelet just a tad but it makes the world of difference comfort wise.

Can anyone post pics of the 1 1/2 link - curious what the symmetry issue looks like.

Thx
