When in the Italian Riviera, one must...

Buy something other than drink Coffee, eat Foccacia or have Spaghetti Pesto for Dinner.

I was walking in Alassio a small village that I really like, its my 3rd time there and a very peaceful picturesque place to see and experience in Italy. I was window shopping for watches and I noticed the Black Bay Tudor outside on display at the Local Rolex Dealer. I had a thought about it and tried it on yesterday and was not sure about it. Since its my last day and I just went there and the rest is history. I got the watch for a nice price, it was on display for EUR 2,470 and with discount I got it for EUR 2,100 which is a steal.

My name on the papers and new watch.

One pic on wrist prior as I am attaching the rest to this thread.

Thank you, I've wanted one for quiet sometime but the Tudor dealer in Kuwait doesnt stock the latest models as rolex is more in demand there. Its the first Tudor dealer I bump into since France that carries this model.

The price is very reasonable and you get a nice looking watch that doesnt really make you regret buying one.

Glad it was a Tudor if it was a Patek then I might enjoy it today and regret it for the next 100 years.

I was afraid you were going to say, "When in the Italian Riviera, one must... wear a Speedo with your Rolex."

Currently most of the people I see wearing Rolex watches here are wearing Polo T-shirts "Fred Perry, RL or Lacoste" with the collar popped up.

This is way off topic but your popped collar comment reminds me of a bar in Key West, Florida called Irish Kevin's. You should try wearing a popped collar shirt in there one night when Jared Hobgood is playing.

Thank you, it will look good today and 10 years forward. I previously had Panerai, Audemars and Zenith the sporty models 44mm + sold them and now the 41MM Tudor is the largest watch I own, Daytona SS, GMT2 16710 and Breguet Marine 39mm.

That's actually quite reasonable. We've noticed good value in many cafe's etc on our recent cruise earlier this year. Love the outdoor cafe experience...!!

Its a great are, no huge crowds like Milano and a change of routine one must enjoy the simpler things in life. I like to buy a newspaper enjoy reading it and enjoy a cup of coffee or just sit there and enjoy the sights and smells of the place.

I am afraid of being so, I've had Gelatto for the past two weeks more than I can remember and its only 1 scope and I am worried.

I wake up late for breakfast so my breakfast meal is a Brunch and in the afternoons I have a lot of coffee and pastries and for dinner its a hearty meal.

Looks really nice the watch. I am still yet to see a Tudor in person here in the UK, even after strolling along Burlington arcade in london i did not see any tudor watches, unless i walked past any by accident and didnt realise.
