Is this real?
Hello, total newbie here to extravagant watches and to this forum.
My uncle recently fell terminally ill and started giving out many of his possessions. He gave me a Rolex that he claims is real but I have my doubts. I don't know much about watches so I'm hoping people here can confirm my suspicions or give me some good news that it is real. Thank you in advance. |

May I ask what you noticed as some of the signs that it's fake? For me, I started doubting it as soon as I picked up and the bracelet just felt so cheap and lightweight...kinda like a $10 watch. Also, I can't get it to run, suspecting that its battery operated...although the face says its "perpetual". |

Not a real rolex...few things wrong...like Rolex doesn't make two tone Day Dates...except for the Tridor of which this is not
