lets be honest

See if you can guess why I am asking this question. How many wives are pist-off that we spent thousands of dollars on watches?

My wife doesn't get pissed off, as long as she buys her Rolex watches too. You see, she loves Rolex watches as well, so no argument there. Whenever I buy one, she buys one.

Err buddy Jason...similar to you...Wifey doesn't get piss off...provided Orchi remembers to get her her share of Rolexes...during special occasions.

Unless...Orchi gets another woman...

Not here.

My wife encouraged me to get a Daytona. She wears a DJ, a B&M Catwalk, an Ikepod, and she wants a Panerai and a Breguet as well.

No problems here...yet. But my wife couldn't care less. She's the sort of no frills person that you even have to force even jewelery on to her. She'd probably rather know that I spend money and energy on this than at something else.

cheers

My GF does not give a damn about my Rolex watches. She couldn't even tell the difference between my SS Cos and GMT IIc if I twisted her arm. Besides that, she spends at least as much money on clothes as I do on Rolex watches. We have agreed to not interfere with eachother's interests.

Is it because of the black Trans Am that talks?

Anyway, my wife knows how long I've wanted a Sub, and supported the spending! She just doesn't like how much time I spend on the computer now! Now, if I could just find a good excuse to go to Der Schweitz...

I received approval from my wife that I was "approved" to allow myself to get my new DJ in stainless because she liked the jubilee face. Otherwise I am not permitted any more watches because the cost of my watch exceeds the money she spends on clothes and shoes for about 3 years

Actually, my wife is very pleased with my four Rolex purchases and a TT DJ for her. She considers them a great investment, and since they were all Grey Market purchases, she was also very happy with the cost!

Honest!!!

My wife understands my need for a watch collection. Women have so many ways to accessories with purses, jewelery, make up ,etc. Men have their watches. The last time I purchased a watch I bought my wife the "Uma Thurman" Tag Heuer Link diamond dial and bezel. That should keep her quiet for a few years. My wife has a purse collection and shoe collection... so I can justify my watch collection.

This is why I handle the household budget! In all reality, I spend time getting her used to the idea that I'm going to buy something expensive. For the most part, if I say, "don't worry about it. we're fine," then she's fine. I also threw in a lady's DJ for her. It actually arrived today, but I'm taking it home so she can open it up herself.

The thing that annoys her to no end is my always talking about watches. That "problem" only started after I found this website!
