CheapestNATOStraps.com
Has anybody ever dealt with a company called Cheapest NATO Straps?
They had a great selection of 20mm NATO straps, and I was just wondering how long shipping took. They appear to be a European outfit (I think). I've been pining over getting a NATO for my 14060 for a few weeks now and finally pulled the trigger. Funny how happy a $7 nylon strap can make a grown man (no comments guys!;)). Now if it'll only get here.... |

Maratac via Broad Arrow is the way to go. Quality straps, and fast shipping.

90% of Natos you find on the web are from china and are all the same. They are fine in quality and come in an infinite number of colors including many regimentals. There are subtle differences between ones made in Germany, England, and Asia. Go for the cheap ones if you like but I bought my oversees NATO from a place called clockwork synergy. They are on amazon and eBay.

I've purchased some NATO straps from http://natostrapco.com/ and they seem like pretty good quality for the price, but I have nothing to compare them to.

I've ordered NATO straps from cheapestnatostraps.com and like them better than comparable Maratacs I've ordered. They are pretty similar in thickness and quality of the holes. The big advantages with cheapestnatostraps.com are:
- the price (they're about half as expensive as Maratacs); - the selection (they have many times more colors available); - the weave (Maratacs have a certain sheen to them that I find unattractive, while the straps from cheapestnatostraps.com are more of a matte finish); and - the grey color strap on cheapestnatostraps.com is very similar to the Phoenix admiralty grey, while the ACU grey from Maratac has what I consider to be an unattractive green tinge. They don't ship all that quickly to the US, as they arrive via standard post--takes about a couple of weeks for delivery. But I'll be ordering many more in the future! |

Terrible Customer Service from CheapestNATOStraps.com
Not only is the quality bad but their customer service is terrible. I ordered about 7 straps and one strap did not fit into the buckle - one end was a larger size then the other. I sent an email and received a reply from the owner, Sofie, who wanted photos of the problem. Fair enough, I took photos and sent them off, she apologized and said she would send a new strap and an additional one for free for my troubles. The 2 days later she changes her mind and wants more photos. Really? For a $7 strap? Would I waste that much time for a $7 strap or try to cheat you? Never again, please do not buy here.... So many better Co’s that have better products and way better customer service.
