Greetings From Toronto
Hi All,
Ive been looking on the site for a bit and now that Im at a point where I can now buy one, I decided to join. Im a nurse in the GTA which isnt a very glamorous job so when Im not at work, I like to indulge in pretty things. Watches are among them. Nice to be here. Judy |

Welcome Judy! You'll find that a Rolex is the ultimate tool watch if you decide to wear it at work. Indeed, I've worked with a number of nurses who wear theirs 'in the trenches'.

Welcome to the forum Judy! Though not a glamorous job...I definitely appreciate all the work nurses do. Good luck on your first purchase!

Thanks for the nursing kudos. :-)
Jay Tee got that right..the greater Toronto area. Jay, I cant imagine wearing my watch to work. Its just too busy and hectic. I would probably have a heart attack and end up in my own unit if something happened to it. LOL I gave my mother my Swiss Army watch cause its very simple and clear, and I started wearing my Tag Aquaracer. I must look at that a dozen times a shift to make sure the crystal is intact. LOL |

Decided on a black stick dial, fluted bezel, jubilee bracelet in a 36mm. A lot of opinions for 31mm and a lot for 36mm. Its not a very feminine watch but that's what the one that grabbed me. :-)

Hi Judy, welcome aboard from Hamilton.

Something like this? Nancy and I bought this one a few weeks ago as a gift for one of her sons, but after it arrived here and I took a look at it, he almost didn't get it.

Welcome to TRF!
Funny that you'd say 36mm isn't ladylike - Rolex has put them in their Women's Selection > http://www.rolex.com/watches/oyster-lady.html

Thanks again all. :-) When I said that the watch wasn't lady like. I decided on the 36mm with black stick dial. Said some don't go with the black sticks, isn't a feminine watch. Erm... I think the 36mm looked great on my wrist. :-)
