Submariner Dials
Does anyone know if the black two-tone Sub. was ever offered with a serti dial? If so, which one?
Thanks. |

Serti dials come in silver or gold/champagne colours, never black.

Is there a Serti dial for the black bezel is another way of asking the question. I have only seen the Serti with the blue bezel.

No, they are only issued with blue bezel TT Subs:
If you want a TT Sub with serti dial and BLACK bezel insert, you can buy a black bezel insert and have it fitted. But firstly the bezel inserts are not easy to come buy in the States (unless you get the SAME bezel insert in connection with damage) but you can order one from abroad. Secondly, RSC would undo this modification, at your expense, when you get it serviced since it was not the original configuration. And lastly, the serti dials come with blue sapphires only (at least original from Rolex) and IMHO, I don't think blue sapphires would match a black bezel insert.
