If I go into the long story I'd be a basher, and I may do that later. So let me just say this QUALITY is greatly lacking.

Yea I know just wanted to vent my feelings. I've bought and sold just about every Prodiver there is and not one has made me want to keep it. Its always something with those.

Uh, not to state it too obviously, but go and see the watch in person, and if you're happy with it, pony up. Otherwise, forget it. Doesn't get any simpler than that.

Should I buy another new watch, and if by chance it happens to be a Rolex I am buying from a place with a good return policy and not wearing it until I check it out until said return policy is up, then if I happen to miss something it is on me....my mistake was wearing the watch out of the store, should have just kept it in the box. Matthew, don't tell me that you're simply answering posts when you're carrying on in your monotonous diatribes - that's classic passive-aggressiveness, and I'm not going to stand for it. I'll make it clear right here and now that if you persist with this pattern of behaviour, you will not be welcome here.
Before you start pontificating about Rolex naysayers being persecuted, I'm going to head you off by informing you that if I ban you, it'll not be because of anything you say about Rolex, but because I judge that you're hell-bent on spreading your dispositional unhappiness. Put simply, this place is like a pub - people are here to have fun, and I've got no problems escorting you to the door if you're making the customers unhappy.

My last post regarding this matter, Mathew.
Listen up, Mathew, I've known you a long time and I know for a fact that you're not a TROLL! Okay, given that fact, why not move on to the brighter side of things? Come on, man, I've been wheeling and dealing with Rollies for so long and with 16 babies under my belt, I only ever had a problem just ONCE!! (last year with that white Expy). Other than that, I assure their quality control must be good. My AD has made a personal tour of their facilities in Geneva and told me that one has to just see their multi-million dollar equipment to believe the QC they must carry out on their watches. That said, I think we can now put an end to this never-ending debate and move on. As I said, Mathew, I know you're NOT a troll....but it's almost like you're heading in that direction. Please just try and accomodate with the rest of us! Thank you. Good cheer - JJ

I've tried to get this across to Mathew once before, but the signal did not get through.......I agree with most of what he has to say, but don't have the need to drone on about it day in and day out........it's tiring to read over and over again. |

Damn Matthew you got SPANKED.
I owned Rolex and NEVER had a problem with the quality. It sucks when you get a bad one but considering their outstanding CS why not just send it in for warranty work? I sold my Rolex and took a hit also and yes that really sucked but it was what I wanted to do. I know you don't want to loss money but unless your willing to hold onto it (be stuck as you put it) for a few yrs you ain't gonna make money or even break even considering the preowned market is bursting with LNIB Rolex. Ah well, the bugger wasn't only being Captain Bringdown, the gravity of his stupidity was bending this place out of shape. This place is way too cool for the likes of him and Amity, as you know, means friendship ...
Whoops, just bought the DVD of Jaws and got my lines mixed up.
