Tudor Arrives at Fourtane in Carmel CA.

Got an e-mail today from Fourtane today telling me that the Tudor Heritage line arrived yesterday in Carmel. They are celebrating the launch at the Pebble Beach Concourse De Elegance on the 17th of Aug as well. If your local and want to see them they are in display!!!

Fantastic timing. My brother and I are driving down to Carmel tomorrow, and he's been wanting to purchase the Black Bay.

pre-owned

Seriously, that'll take years before people have watches and trade them back in......aside from the infrequent current Tudor owner that makes a trade on a new one.

Fourtane has quite the pre-loved collection. I bought my Sub LV from them pre loved (sort of) it was still had all the stickers on the case. They have many collector's pieces. They almost always have Red Subs, White Subs, 1675's, Vintage Explorers, many colored Prrsidents (Day Dates), from time time to time Patek Philipe, Panerai, and others. They do have Steve McQueens ND Sub, you have to ask to see it, it is not on display. They are an exceptional pre-loved dealer. Their prices are reasonable, and Dr Rolex (Rob) goes through gives them the look over before the hit the floor. Great AD! I travel an hour and a half to visit them because my AD (Davidson and Licht) 6 min away from my house doesn't carry pre loved pieces. Although my AD 6 min away is great for new Rolex, Panerai, and more.

I'm thinking of some of the older models like subs or chronos.

That's what watch forums like TRF are for.......the ADs are just getting the Tudor line and you're already looking for pre-owned

I don't see how Tudor returning to the US fundamentally changes the market for pre-owned Tudors, since those were always available on the pre-owned market even when Tudor did not have an official presence here.

Supply and demand. When the supply is higher, the prices on the second market will drop accordingly.

It would affect the supply for newer models, but not for the older models.

Fortune is a cool shop, me and the wife went to Carmel on vacation just 4 weeks ago. I stopped in because they had a Paul Neuman chrono there I wanted to see. Also it was my chance to get my wife to see the rolex line and tell me what she thought. Very cool store with some very nice people.
