BLNR Nomeclature Help!

This is my very first post on this forum. I have just received the new GMT Master II Ceramic Stainless Steel. The problem is that the warranty information and the Model No on the box do not match the actual watch. The Style No. on the warranty card and box state 116710B.

The actual model no is 116710BLNR. Are the new Gmt's with black and blue bezels have similar warranty cards and boxes. I could look for matching serial number on the watch but that might require removal of the band. Would this void the warranty?

Any other owners of the new GMT have similar issues?

The AD states that the other GMT black and blue that they have received have the same Identification on the warranty card and box.

The AD also removed the plastic protection from the watch. I have bought
three previous Rolex watches from this AD without any similar problem. Any
advise would be greatly appreciated .

if you bought it from an AD I wouldn't worry at all, I would just enjoy the watch =)

Check this. If it matches, you're all good.

Just an abreviation for BLNR. The black bezel is LN so it's not similar. You're fine

I have the same watch, GMT 116710B. My warranty card Style reference # and green hang tag read exactly the same way as yours. So no worries.

No, the actual model no. is 116710 and it is stamped on the watch- anything after that is simply an accessory identifier and only found on the build paper or other papers..

BL is Blue
NR is Noir (Black)

116710B or BL or BLNR all refer to the same watch
116710black or N or NR all refer to the same watch

Mine, on the warranty card, it's : 116710BLNR + my country code : 150 (bought in Paris)
All the GMT BLNR I have seen (4), in europe, have the same numbers + the country code.

Maybe Rolex change the numbers (like for the country code) between the US and the rest of the world for the new GTM BLNR ?

Its different in the USA its a separate company from the rest of the world and parent company Rolex Switzerland SA.

The warranty card issued in the US looks different from those issued from the rest of the world.
