Just back from the Rolex Factory Service Center with Total Mechanical Overhaul and a "Green Card" Rolex factory warranty good until July 2015 Signed, Rolex Ref. 1665 “Oyster Perpetual Date, Sea-Dweller, 2000 ft / 610m Superlative Chronometer, Officially Certified T SWISS T <25 Made ca. 1978 with serial number 5.804.532 - Fine center seconds, self- winding, water resistant to 610 m, stainless steel diver’s wristwatch wit helium escape valve, date aperture at 3 and a stainless steel Oyster Fliplock bracelet Reference 93150/585/L10 The Case is made of three-body, polished and brushed, with helium escape valve at 9, graduated bi-directional revolving black bezel for the decompression times, Triplock winding crown protected by the crown guards, screwed-down engraved case back and crown. Superb Dial (and that's where all the money is) with luminous round, baton and triangular indexes, aperture for the date. Luminous steel skeleton hands. Movement Cal. 1570, rhodium-plated, oeil-de-perdrix decoration, 26 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to 5 positions and temperature, shock absorber, self-compensating free-sprung Breguet balance spring, hack mechanism. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 40 mm. Thickness 17 mm. Rolex Reference 1665 Sea-Dweller models with "Rail Dials" Were made by the Stern Company an outside Rolex dial manufacturer who also made the 600 meters COMEX 1665 dials and for only a two year period... from late 1977 to early 1979. (Serial 5 million - only ?) The distinctive characteristics of the rail dial are as follow: The letter "C" of Chronometer lines up with the letter "C" of Certified of the line below. Secondly the font of the depth markings are always in italics.- 3. The hour markers (tritium dots) are closer to the minute track than the regular dial. 4. The only version of the SD dials where is marked "T SWISS T <25", including COMEX 1665...5. Longer minute markers. 6.
