Good afternoon to you all.
I am new to this forum and was directed here by a sporting forum who,s past times are not to be mentioned on this forum. I appreciate your rules. Long ago , well it seems that way I was an avid watch collector with the means , time and contacts to collect at the right price. My life has changed and a family has taken centre stage to watch collecting. This leaves me with a few remaining watches that I am interested in selling. I know I am new , tell me what I need to do to sell on this site. I am being honest and forward , I am here to sell. Years ago I would have been here to be an active member but time is not my own and I am no longer in a collecting phase. If I offend in this forwardness please advise me and I will exit the forum as I do not wish to offend. If members are interested in what I have I am happy to oblige , as I mentioned I have a couple remaining that I would like to sell. I would prefer they go to avid collectors rather than the melting pot as some shops have suggested....... Hi , thanks for the reply.
yes rules are all good I will follow . I am on other forums and understand the importance of having guidelines and rules. I was at one time in the second hand industry and was able to buy watches at very good prices. I always had the idea that one day I might sell them.... As much as I enjoy the beauty of the watches I am not getting them out of the safe to admire or wear as I am not longer in a working environment that lends itself to fine watches that cannot withstand bumps , water and rough treatment. So some will go. Initially a 1922 solid 9ct full hunter ROLEX pocket watch will go. Family want to build an extension on the house so items like the boat , some watches , antique surfboards will go to reduce a little debt and make the reno more enjoyable >.... Its kind of a sad day to be thinking about it. Like selling one of my kids LOL |
