IS the Exp 16570 and No Date Sub 14040M bracelet the same

Is the bracelet for the Explorer II 16570 the same as the bracelet on the Submariner No Date 14060? Reason I am asking is I am in the process of trading an Explorer II for a 14060M randum serial number watch. I have had one permanent link removed from the bracelet on my EXP II. Just wondering if the two bracelets can just be switched or are they different is some way. Thanks for your advice

No they are not. The Explorer II link has polished sides if I'm correct and the 14060 Sub link doesn't.

Cosmetics aside, the Expl.II also has a different clasp from the Sub. Obvious difference is no diver expansion.

But mechanically - you can use either bracelet on either watch and they fit fine. In fact, for a long time you could factory order a Sub bracelet for your Expl.II

Yep.

But removing a link or adding a link is pretty simple. Get yourself a flat ground 1.6mm driver and some thread locker and you're off and running

If it is a modern Explorer II, then No, they are not interchangeable.. The 14060M cannot use any type of SEL bracelet.. The 93150 will fit on the Explorer II but not the other way around unless it is an earlier non-SEL Exp II bracelet.

Also, as mentioned, the Sub uses a diver extension bracelet and the Exp II does not normally. (yes, you could order an EXP II with a 93150, so if it does have that bracelet then they are interchangeable)
