What comes next?
I have a DJII for dressy and a SubC as a daily wear. So what comes next?

My choice also. The Exp I will probably be my next & last Rolex. Then I'll see what Tudor comes out with down the road.

I like buying watches to keep them and not plan on trading them.
Although I wish I could get rid of the DJII but being that it was a present from my in-laws I do not think that would be such a great idea. - Maybe I could change the dial and that would make me like the watch more.. Well see.. What do I want??? Well my wife wants my next watch to be a SS 42mm Cartier Ballon Bleu on a leather strap so that I could "match" her WG 36mm Ballon Bleu diamond bezel. I love that watch and feel it will be a great addition to my rotation being that I would like to have a leather band dressy classy watch. I have a dealer who can get that at $4500 BNIB. So that one is pretty set for me. AFTER that - brings me to my question.. Hulk? Daytona White Dial? I also really want a watch on a rubber strap for those sporty times I don't feel like wearing my Sub on SS.. So I'm confused over here and would love some suggestions.. |

I took the same path as you: DJII, SubC and recently DDII.

I think a DJII, SubC, and an Explorer II would be a good trio.

Go for the beautiful Gold 116718. Pick up the new THC to cover the Chronograph.

Solid Yellow Gold Sub or GMT. You will command every room you walk into with either on your wrist.

I think it's whatever your heart desires. With the pair that you have it covers a lot of bases. So really anything you add from here out is totally what sings to you.
Happy shopping. |

I think you've got the bases covered, so there's no real logical reason to buy another, unless a GMT would have utility in you life and profession.
But, what WIS has ever employed logic in his watch purchases? The 114270 and the 214270 are both great watches to own. I'm partial to the 114270, but as I own one, I'm a bit biased. I think the best thing is to disregard all the advice here and just wait until one day when you try on a watch at the AD and your heart begins to thump and a still, small voice whispers, "You must have this watch."
