Explorer II 216570 Mod - do you like it?
What about this?
I'm actually considering swapping the date disc with a white on black one...something like this: Ciao from Italia |

The black on white is more legible to my diminishing eyesight.

I like it also. White on black looks more harmonious with the black dial.

I have mentioned this before and wished that Rolex did this a looooong time ago. Omega did it with their past SMP series and I loved the balanced, easy to read look - sans cyclops I might add...nice job - thanks for bringing this up!

I prefer the white. The black one makes the dial look off like it is missing an hour marker at 3 o'clock. The white one is well balanced with the 9 0'clock marker.

It looks ok. Not sure I would go through the trouble for what looks to be a limited gain. Just my thought...

Hmmm ... Interesting. I think the white background does balance the 9 marker, but the black background doesn't look bad.

What the heck something different. Not like it's Earth shattering, just a little twist.
