Satisfied?

So, here's a question. It seems that most on this site are very happy with their current Rolex watch(es). That's a given.

But...how many here are so happy that they plan on never purchasing another Rolex, because they are just THAT content??

Hard to justify another Rolex but I'm sure I'll come up with something.
I have all the bases covered now. The Tudor chrono as a sporty, everyday workhorse. The GMT II, in all it's interchangeable forms, can go from sporty to dressy. The DateJust adds a vintage touch and goes great when wearing french cuffs [hear that Bama?].
My wife has confidence in my ability to come up with excuses why one more is a must.

Yeah Dan, and hanging around with those of use who are "ate up with it" just reinforces her conviction that it's a waste of time even worrying about it any more...

Love that SS collection of yours, my friend!

I'm on a great many waiting lists...and called all ADs within a five hour radius.

I'm also keeping all fingers and toes crossed for good luck, which is starting to get a might bit painful!

Good luck to you in your quest as well, Gerry!

I'm close to that, Tony. I have the Bark DD on my Grail list - but that is it. And if the right deal/watch doesn't come along, I'm set for life.

Good question, though. Should stimulate a lot of discussion.

I feel like I am set for the near future, but can see a TT DJ or DD (if lucky) 10-15 years from now. Well, at least that's what I think at the moment.

Never is a long time, Tony. Like Allan, I'm pretty well set with my current crop. But my grail Rolex is the meteorite Daytona on a black strap. If the right deal came along, I would definitely consider adding to my modest collection.

I currently only have one Rolex (TT Datejust) and I am in the market to add to it. The problemsis there are so many that I like it is hard to decide. On my list now I would like to have:

1. GMT Pepsi
2. 50th Green Sub
3. Daytona
4. Prince

However, I am very satisfied with the one I have. It is always fun to look and to admire the collection Rolex has. I guess I am looking at this as a lifetime of collecting and dreaming. NOT a need.

With the possible upgraded watches that rolex might release trust me nobody will stop purchasing them even if they are damaging your pocket

Very true... If they redesign the SD and throw the ceramic bezel on it, I will definitely be tempted...

Anyway we should be proud and thankful that at least we are able to enjoy and wear one of the things that we love the most and these are watches. I might sound greedy about purchasing a daytona cause i purchased my gmt II c 9 days ago but i am really happy and thankful that i had the ability and opportunity to make my dream come true and my dream was to own such a fine timepiece

I will always have my gold GMT II C "Green Arrow" but if Rolex comes out with a Sea Dweller in 44 mm with a maxi dial, that will become my daily wear watch, and either my Marathon CSAR, or my Ball COSC Diver will go.

Interesting question.

For me, I am happy with what I have in the collection and it's a matter of seeing what comes up next. I think that is part of the fun of collecting, although I must stress that I wouldn't buy a watch I wouldn't wear.

I'm happy with what I have, but always room for one more.

And if the blue TT sub ever gets the upgrades, there might be room for two more.

I am content with my SS Sub Date and SS Daytona white dial. I have not had the itch since this past June when I got the Daytona.

No question of IF, the questions WHEN.

I have:

5513
SD
SS GMTII

Really want a white SS Daytona, but only if it is a list.

Other than that, my grail is a 1967 DRSD but we are talking serious money or massive luck.
