Th Newest Professional Series Rolex
The professional line currently includes diving, mountain climbing, yatching, car racing, globe trotting, sky dwelling, and magnetic field taunting watches. If you could request/design the next Rolex tool watch, what would be its stated purpose?

Regardless of what their intended purposes are, who really wears a 8-35K Rolex for such purposes? So it really doesn't matter what other " professional " series they come up with.. They are no longer a tool watch.. Rather, a delicate jewelry ...but i still wear my 16610 for diving... What a concept...

Seems Rolex has it pretty well covered. Even the Explorers are touted as spelunking watches by the pictures in the booklets. But if I could choose new functions, I'd like to see a high/low tide indicator along lines of the Kreiger watches. Got stuck once on the rocky coast of France one time for not knowing when high tide was, and I had to navigate my way several miles over the hillsides though fields and over fences. Got chased by a few cows, so maybe a bovine detector would be nice as well.

I'd like to have one with an analog compass that actually works. Maybe even an altimeter on sub dials. I wouldn't want any polished bits and I'd want it on a rubber strap. And I'd want it to take a lot of shock. Hmmm. An R-shock?
