Congratulations in advance brother, I'm looking forward to seeing it but given your tastes it can only be a beautiful watch (a Tudor perhaps?).

My guess is one of the latest Tudor models based on his last post... Now could it be THC blue, Pelagos, Black Bay, or one of the earlier modern THC models? Suspense, suspense! Tsk, tsk, tsk!

Ha. It could very well be.

I will say though, that I acknowledge I have issues. I went a little crazy this time. But good crazy. Like, really good crazy.

That's what my guess would be. Pelagos, BB on a leather strap and a THC are less than a Daytona! Great value.

Looking forward to the incoming!

OK, let me be the first to say that this was completely not necessary and I realize I went overboard.

Without getting into too much detail, I recently picked up an AP Diver. The watch is amazing, but just not for me. So I flipped it back to David and picked up the BB on strap and the Blue THC. These two alone are nothing but awesomeness. Two great watches that can complete a collection.

BUT, my local AD, just got in Tudor. They had an event and I wanted to support them. I had bought a few from them in the past, but stopped because I tend to buy everything from David. When I got there, I was literally FLOORED by the Pelagos. I never liked them in pictures. Not at all, in fact. BUT, in person, OMG, this thing was amazing.

Even more than that, the Grantour white dial had me blown away. I was not planning on buying anything, but these people are so nice every time I go to try something on, that I just felt the need.

With the price point being what they are, I bought them both.

I've been contemplating getting an Explorer I 39mm, but the Tudor's continue to haunt me. My wife thinks I've formed a new sickness.

PS - You have to admit the mini-Tudor crest shape at the head of the second hand on the Grantour is a nice little touch. Looks great through a magnifying glass.
