Laser engraving
I have a SS Sub Date with some laser engraving on the back of the case. I'd like to have this removed (kind of a long story). Is it possible to have this done?

Welcome to TRF, Robert!
Best way is to send it to RSC and have a new caseback fitted. Should not be too expensive. I guess the engraving could also be removed by polishing it down, but it depends on how deep the engraving is. If too much material loss is involved, the caseback gets too thin to withstand the pressure it is water resistance tested to.
