Watch appears to be OK, although some of the pics are on the small side to tell with any certainty.
It appears to be an older 80's datejust, or at least trying to be one..

How about a little background.?
Have you already purchased, and where is it coming from?

We were posting at same time and that's why I said "if". My iPhone didn't give me enough resolution to be sure. The D12 code is a notorious one for counterfeiters.

The clasp code indicates the bracelet was made in Dec. 1979. So if that's an authentic bracelet then it is consistent with a 1980 Rolex.

But your pictures can't tell us what is inside the watch. Have it checked locally.

I agree the crystal is aftermarket. Cyclops isn't magnifying like it should.

To the OP - you need to have it verified by watchmaker opening up the watch and checking the movement also.

Bracelet looks fake (rolex swirls are strange !) and watch looks weird also. Bracelet code is fake... Lug Holes seem to be a bit low for me, coronet on winding crown looks "raw designed"...
As usual, buy the buyer before the watch.

Some very knowledgeable people have determined the bracelet is fake. How often does a counterfeit bracelet come attached to a genuine Rolex? I'm not hopeful, but the pictures are not very good and I'm no expert.
