Average Milgauss AD discount?

Hey everyone,

It's been a while since I've posted and it feels good to be back. I have been thinking of adding a new watch to my small collection and the Milgauss may possibly be it. I was wondering if anyone knows the average discount that is available for the Milgauss from an AD. I'm not interested in buying used or in the grey market. Thanks for any and all info possible.

ADs vary. Discounts have tightened up. Buy here from a trusted seller would be my advice. I was in an AD in Hawaii last week and they obviously get lots of Japanese tourists coming through there. The salesperson told me the Japanese are not buying as Rolex are cheaper in Japan.

Tokyo. New white and black dial Milgauss. Just over $5100. GV. Just over $6,000. How do you beat that?

True. Also, Britain is cheaper than the US. I'm not sure what is going on, because the US is typically the cheapest market for consumer goods in the developed world.

I would tell the AD youre thinking of the Milgauss or a Breitling, assuming they don't sell them, say a B01 chronograph and tell them they are around the same price but the Breitling has a lot more functions etc so if you're going to settle for the plain old Rolex, and remind him this is no subc, you will need a good discount. Ask for 15% off, say you can get 30% off the Breitling, and maybe settle for 10-12% off.

If youre not going to go grey then you gotta negotiate in the ADs, esp on the less popular Rolexes, and always ignore or even be unimpressed when they tell you - yes, but its a Rolex with great status etc.

Haha In south florida, you go to one ad that carries both and there answer will be 0 discount on both brands and laugh hysterically and have security escort you out of store, another AD will say 10% max on breiting and mil gauss 6% if you're lucky plus 6% tax, so just tad under sticker Otd. They say I can't, they look at my books, can't lose the brand if I abuse discount

Usually a 5% discount on GV. Maybe more on the other two models.
