Warranty Card
Evening fellow TRF's i'm looking to purchase another watch from the for sale section from the forum, and the sellers mentioned that the 'Warranty Card is Named and Dated' and 'BNIB'.
So what does this mean ? if someone else name is already on the warranty card how can it be BNIB ? is there any sellers here on TRF that can fill the date in and i put my own name ? Honestly if i were to purchase it BNIB i'd expect it to be in my name , kinda bugs me if it ain't . |

Then go to an AD....BNIB means or should mean it's unworn, un-sized and still has the stickers on it.

Grey may not be for you. Try your local dealer...

Names are sometimes added by the dealer at the time of purchase. Warranty is still transferable to the new owner regardless.
Several of the trusted sellers here can put your name on the card....check with DavidSW |

Warranties are not always transferable to the new owner or next owner. Unless they have changed their policies, Rolex warranties in the U.S. do not transfer to the next owner or owner not named on the warranty certificate/card. That being said, I know that some Rolex service centers might be more lenient than others when it comes to warranty service but it is not a given. Perhaps others can update me if I am incorrect.

A BNIB could have been sold years ago, but never worn...doesn't necessarily mean "newly manufactured."
