You're doing it wrong if you don't have at least 1 G-Shock in your rotation.

Ha ha. I agree. My G-shock is an indestructible beast of a watch that I will never part with.

I have two Casio watches here that are functional, but they rarely get wear anymore, although they are important pieces to me.
As much as I appreciate watches and love to have them around, the Rolex watches have stolen my heart and my three seem to cover all possible situations at this stage of life. Maybe I'll wear the G-Shock tomorrow just because.

I got this to wear on some courses with the army. It wasn't that I was worried about my sub taking the beating but more about some sticky fingered swine putting it in his pocket in the changing room!
It only cost me £25 and it's never done me wrong.

I wouldn't mind having one of the early calculator watches. It would be a fun piece for sure. I work with engineers and they would love it.

Just checked eBay. Tons of them for sale in the $16 dollar range. I'm getting one ASAP. Hope they aren't fakes and come with box and papers.

I have 5 atomic/solar G-Shocks (had 8 and sold 3) and am crazy about them. I sync them nightly with the atomic clock in Colorado (by setting them in a western facing window) and have them in the sun (through the window) in the afternoon. All 5 are spot on with the time and fun watches to own. I set all of my watches using the G-Shocks. Cheers, Bill P.

Thought only I did that. I do not own five G-Shocks but I do put the two I do own in a window facing the sun and set my other watches with the G-Shocks.

I have an older gshock and a fairly new pathfinder triple sensor. Love the pathfinder but it is the most uncomfortable watch I have. The plastic strap does not conform and feels like someone is grabbing my wrist. It's terrible.

YES! A G-shock should have a place in every watch collection. I beat the snot out of mine on the weekends and they still keep coming back for more.
