I think you need a pound or two of Reo Thompson Mint Smoothies to wash that down Art

I wouldn't eat a rib sandwich with real bones in it, so why would anyone want one fake ones molded into it?
Any product that molds fake bones in to make it look more like its name scares the crap out of me. I can't bring myself to eat one.

It's a product of "restructured meat technology." so guess they could make it any shape they wanted, and decided to make it look like ribs, and more appetising. |

...rather than make it look like snouts and sphincters to make it look more accurate...?!

Why does this immediately spring to mind...
Krusty: Listen, about the Ribwich. We won't be making them anymore. The animal we made them from is now extinct. Homer: The pig? Otto: The cow? Krusty: You're way off. Think smaller...think more legs. I wouldn't put one of those things I'm my mouth if you paid me!

So, Art, how many of these should I eat weekly to grow muscles?
I feel like trying one though...just for the sake of it. Quote:

This from the land of Haggis!
McRibs are delicious, the one and only thing I would go to McD's to enjoy.

Google just made me very happy that I've never eaten one...
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/11-ama...170212930.html 3. The McRib is a product of "restructured meat technology." Rene Arend came up with the idea and design of the McRib, but it's a professor from the University of Nebraska named Richard Mandigo who developed the "restructured meat product" that the McRib is actually made of. According to an article from Chicago magazine, which cites a 1995 article by Mandigo, "restructured meat product" contains a mixture of tripe, heart, and scalded stomach, which is then mixed with salt and water to extract proteins from the muscle. The proteins bind all the pork trimmings together so that it can be re-molded into any specific shape — in this case, a fake slab of ribs.

Yes but all that is irrelevant, they smothered it in BBQ sauce.
I'd probably eat a bar of soap if it was covered with BBQ sauce. |

Parts is Parts!
Instruction for making a McRib; 1) Collect meat parts 2) Put meat parts in grinder 3) Compact meat parts in McRib former 4) Make thousands of formed McRibs from various meet parts and ship internationally Yummmmy? I think not.

I'm sorry, Art... but after the "pink slime" publicity I just can't bring myself to go anywhere near a McDonald's. (runs off to barf...)
But hey.... ya going to eat all of those fries? |

Lisa, I like their fries(the only "Thingy's I eat their) too.....but did you know all Fast Food Places use fries which are first soaked in sugar water as part of their processing. This way when they are timed in the Deep Fat Fryer...they come out all golden and brown and consistent!!!
