Iwc aquatmer 2000
I am thinking of the Aquatimer 2000...black dial with black and yellow bezel for a weekend watch....What does everyone think of the yellow portion of the bezel???? Is it too bright??? I do like yellow and black combo, but just wondering if the right upper part of the bezel(yellow portion) is too much...
Thanks!! |

I own this watch, although with the white dial.
It's a great watch. The heft and build quality of the case are terrific and I really like the simplicity of the design. The lume is also excellent as is the water resistance rating. Mine also keeps fine time. Lastly, I really like having an IWC in the collection. Given its size, heft and sportiness I usually use it as a weekend watch as well (as it doesn't slide under the cuffs of most fitted shirts). The yellow part was a bit TOO contrasty for my tastes but I appreciate its originality. I have found the rubber strap to be borderline short for my medium size wrist however, and the rotating bezel is not quite as fine as the ones we are used to in the Rolex's (especially the ceramic bezel versions). Enjoy your watch shopping. |

Good timing on this post. I too was contemplating picking this one up. For whatever reason it just came up on my radar.

I like the black/yellow although not crazy about the Aquatimer itself. It's nice enough, but just does not excite me for some reason
