Need help quick. On the way to the AD.

Heading out shortly to see both the classic Omega Speedmaster Pro and the Tudor Black Bay on leather. I like them both, but I can't decide! I am hoping trying them on will help me make a decision. I need some help from my TRF friends. In my signature you can see my current watch collection. Thx in advance guys!

I would pick the BB, but then I am neither an Omega or chrono fan

My first question is...is the chrono function or waterproofness more important in a watch to you

I'd take the BB on SS bracelet. You have an Omega already, so add a Tudor to your collection. It'll add a nice balance as well.

I think the iconic Omega Speedmaster Pro (with Hesalite) should be a part of every collection. It is extremely comfortable, great looking and very reasonably priced.

I think trying both on in person is key as mentioned. It really comes together at that point.

I think I'd pick the Speedmaster.

If it was a Pelagos, however, and not the Black Bay then it would be a totally different story!

Had a 3570.50 for one year but sold cause no matter how many half links I tried I could never adjust the bracelet. That clasp is the main issue.

Well the decision was made based on trying them on and having something that had a little color to it since I already have a black sub and a Omega Seamaster PO. The good news is that after trying on the Speedmaster, I still plan on adding it to my collection!

Congratulations on a beautiful piece , it was a tough call for sure. I have the Omega Seamaster 300M Pro (my first luxury piece) still love it, after a few others I added the Speedy (a timeless beauty, looks good with SS bracelet or leather strap) and my most recent piece is the BB (comfortable, versatile exceptionally good value and destined to be a classic). You will add the Speedy down the road and you won't regret.

Congrats. You could not have made a wrong choice with those two watches. I have them both and like them both but for different reasons on different days. It really just depends on what mood I'm in that day. The Black Bay is a stunner to look at but the Omega (to me) is more comfortable to wear and when I look down at that beautiful hesalite crystal I think about the history of the watch. I'm happy you chose the Black Bay but the Speedmaster isn't going to leave you alone.
