Why not - the more the merrier!

They are different enough, at least to us WIS-types

SD for me.

Too many different styles to have such overlap... I did have a few divers in my collection at one time, when i questioned myself, i got it down to the 1 i liked best.

Also the old style have served me so well for so long, i cant find any merit to the newer type.

Like them both, have them both ~ enough differences for me to pull the trigger.

No. I like diversity. I don't even want two subs. I debated keeping the Hulk I had, and adding a 16613; ultimately, I did a trade for the 16613 so that I wouldn't have two divers.

To each their own, but that wasn't for me.

If your collection is somewhat large with good diversity I say go for it.

I had both a Sub C Date and a DSSD. I like the size of the DSSD and stopped wearing the Sub C. DSSD for me.

No opportunity cost is too high, there are a lot of other Rolexes and APs and PPs etc that I want.

I would like to have a Sea-Dweller. I have the sub and would gladly trade it and some cash if I had for the Dweller. I do not think it would be practical for me to have a sub and SD though.

I would not want two divers of the same brand. Too many other interesting watches out there.

I had a Sub-C LN but along came the DSSD and I stopped wearing the Sub-C LN

To create a bit of variety in my small collection I sold the Sub-C LN and bought a Sub-C LV (The Hulk). Now I wear both :)

I wont have both watches in my collection, either one is OK, because they look almost the same.

Not a Sub C, until they change "if they do" the fat lugs... I own a SD 16600 & DJ 116200 and I would love a 16610 in my collection.

I wouldn't.

They are just too similar.

As it is, with the sub and blnr they are too similar and they are more different than a sub and dssd

I am happy with my Sub. As impressive as the SD is, my collection is too small for overlaps.

A DSSD and an LVc would be a good combination, otherwise no.

They are quite different watches. If you like both and want both I believe they are different enough to merit having both.

Not a fan of the Sub C at all...I do have a SD 16600 and a 16610. Not a fan of the DSSD either, I bought a DSSD and flipped it in a week. We can not all like the same stuff, that would be boring!
