To Service or Not?
I have Rolex, the reset of chrono pusher is not straight to 12, but i have to push really hard in order to get back to 12. Sometimes it get back to 11 or 1. I have talk to the AD, and it is something wrong. Actually the first time I bought was already like this.
Now the condition of the watch is nearly 2 years, so its still under warranty. What do you recommend me to do? If i decide to service, the watch will be sended to singapore, I have to wait until a long time, and I am afraid something terrible happened (eg: dent, scratches, the worst is still not get fix yet OR my movement change into something cheaper!) The other question, does movement service such as oiling the movement is include in the service warranty? or its just only fix the reset chrono pusher? I need your suggestion please, whats your experiences of servicing in Singapore? The fact that the chrono reset pusher is something that i never use it, but its all about satisfaction. Later if I need to service outside the 2 years warranty, I believe it can cost a bit expensive. so whats your opinion guys, to Service? or Not? Thanks in advance, have a nice day, take care |

Take it in!!! You have had this issue for almost 2 yrs and it hasn't resolved itself. If it hasn't fixed itself yet, isn't going to. So before it costs you a lot of money, take it in. ;-)

It is what the warranty is for, so take advantage of it.

"my movement change into something cheaper"
You really think Rolex is going to change your movement for a cheaper one? If you think this lowly of the company why buy a watch from them? |
