Nice, but why break the iconic bracelet or band attachment?

Amazing piece. Sadly, I am sure it will be well out my price range!! A stunning design, lifted even further with the white ceramic. Thanks for the link, drool running down my chin as I type!!

When they change it to titanium? I saw some pics of assembled model from R&P factory with combination of white and black ceramic. I will post pics later.

And here's the pic by watchanish.com

Don't know why they change ceramic with titanium. This looks great...

I m not sure if black and white goes along well in this piece, to me, it looks like a toy than a 6 figure($) watch. The white bezel looks like plastic..

I don't think ceramic will look cheap in reality, but I agree it looks toyish so does Bubba RM055 and it's stunning in person.

Less toyish in black than white and awesome in the flesh as you say!

I concur. This new concept looks "cartoony".

No doubt, it has an interesting look. However, I must admit that most of us have a soft spot for the RG/Carbon Tourbillon Chrono!

I wouldn't call the AP concept a "copy" of an RM considering the first concept was released in 2002 shortly after RMs inception. Also considering that some RM movements were produced by APRP I don't think copy is the right word.

While this new ceramic concept isn't my cup of tea the forged carbon concept is one of my all time favorites.

AP is trying to get closer to RM's style methinks, I don't know for you guys but I personally see a similarity here.

If you ask me I'd say it looks nice but it's not my favorite AP model, however too big the ROO's and modern RO's are for my wrists I prefer their square and kind of bulky looks to this one. I can't say it's not beautiful though, it sure looks unique.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. I agree with you. Hublot is being even more shameless with copying RM (poorly IMHO) with this creation:

I think Hublot "copied" AP prior to that...

I agree with with Carl and would add that they are trying too hard to impress. Sometimes that can be a recipe for disaster. And on top of that the price this is going to have is going to be astronomical... So what's the point?

Well, trying new things won't always create a classic, but it's better to have tried.

It looks kind of funky, sort of like if it was meant to be aimed at teenagers!
