The week of Mike.

Greetings from Sunny Seattle.

Two weeks ago my watch radar came on strong. After some haggling I became the proud new owner of a lovely (IMO) 16030 DJ. She needs some TLC- the kind RSCs love to give. The watch went out 2 weeks ago for a full service. I'll be sure to post some after pictures.

Part I of my great week was nice, part II was even better. My usual ebay searches leave much to be desired; wrong dial color/low feedback etc. Something caught my eye though- a shiny Tudor 9411/0 Snowflake Submariner. After the B.I.N was deppresed the waiting game began. After 3 days of waiting and a quick trip for some temporary generic springbars she was on my wrist. The lovely Riveted 7206 bracelet is off the watch and a folded link is on for daily wearing

My name is Mike, I live and work in beautiful (Sunny?) Seattle, WA in Broadcast Television. Thankyou for the wonderful site- I hope to learn and contribute as much as possible.

Now for the pictures- enjoy:

It's always sunny in Seattle, WA and Vancouver, BC - it's called liquid sunshine!

Welcome aboard. Two neat watches. I saw the sun in Seattle once. Of course it was 3am and I was trying to find my hotel.

Congrats on the watch, Mike. In what capacity do you work in broadcast TV?

Edit: Disregard my question. I'm assuming your user name says it all!

I picked it up from the local AD 10 years ago when I was in highshcool. I had 2 copies- one of which was just sold.
