I like the Glidlock alot better, I find the old ones to be real "hair pullers". Not so fun.
Still love the older GMT.

The old clasp was a weak point over time as it aged. I've had one let go as it became "looser".

Fliplock helped eliminate the unintentional release syndrome.

Wore the old clasp for 25 years and never had a problem. More adjustable than the new and could get a better fit of the bracelet.

this one has an upright crown when fully wound, a first for me.

i like the single lock clasp for itd elegance for its age.

The old clasp certainly looks elegant, but functionally not as robust in the long haul.

New clasp gets my vote.

But old clasp on its way to being vintage with tons of charm. Light and functional, nothing wrong with that.

I've had many older clasp and they've all been rock solid reliable. I've also had many of the newer clasps and they're infinity better "feeling" but I've had one failure (fixed under warranty) so it's too early to say either way. I do check my bracelets and clasps more regularly with the newer models though.
