Welcome to TRF!

The Rolex 6263 is my grail Rolex chronograph, especially the one with the silver dial.

We would need pics to help you, though.

Meanwhile, there are various sites where you can read more about them, for example by clicking this link to an article.

www.doubleredseadweller.com also has some information about the 626X Daytonas.

That's a tough one to help you with..

The 6263 is an early Valjoux movement and may or may not have Daytona on the dial...

They are highly sought after and also are highly counterfeited.. You need someone, or you need to know as much as possible about what to look for with this piece.

I do not think that a 93150 bracelet would be original to that watch....

An all original 6263 can be worth anywhere from 20 to 50k.....

Black dials are nice but it came in other colors too.. sometimes these would have Daytona in red above the 6 o'clock subdial and are referred to as "reds"

The 6263 had a bakelite tachymeter bezel while the 6265 had a metal bezel..

I'm pretty sure that the originals had the fold over early 78... something bracelets..

It is unlikely that they made fakes back in the late 70's as these were not that popular then, and had to be discounted heavily to sell.....but there have been many fakes made to resemble an older Cosmo because of their current value...

Does it also have a white border around the dial face..

If so it could be the even more rare Paul Newman Daytona...

You are quickly climbing out of the advice that you can get on an internet forum...

If you truly do have an original 6263 Daytona red, Rolex 727 movement (Valjoux 72) with the Paul Newman dial, then you need professional help.

And good for you......

How does it have a 93150 bracelet on it? The 93150 is 20mm and all 6263 have a 19mm bracelet.(78350 is one#)

Got to agree with you it don't sound good,19mm bracelet on the 6263/5 from 1970 78350/19.But the 6263 could have 7205,7835 or 78350 and 71,71H,371,or 571 end-links.Its possible with a bit of moderation to fit the 93150 bracelet with the original end links. But it would take quite a bit of value off the watch.
