The U.S. patent application is under a first (non-final) rejection. All claims except a very narrow claim 14 have been rejected on prior art grounds. A response is due sometime between February, 2014 and May, 2014, depending on how much Rolex wants to pay for extensions of time. Unclear at this point how good this patent (if it even issues) will be.
Sorry, that's just my professional view coming to the fore.
