I have to side with the Omega, although neither could resist a funky sweep second hand. Besides, the Seamaster has really solid specs.

Wonder if the black and yellow second hand on the Omega has some significance with respect to magnetism.

I think that the colours of the 'Bumblebee' sweep hand were chosen to
mimic the black and yellow of "Radioactive Danger" signeage, and, perhaps echo
the stripes on the tall chimmney one sees at some Nuclear power stations.

I love both of my watches equally, Both are same as far as what they are known for with a slight advantage to omega <15000 gauss were rolex is
Mil=1000 gauss. I think the lighting bulb hand on the Rolex MILGAUSS is beautiful and unique, Also mine is the GV so its special to me because of the green crystal. its a very very cool watch, Its Dressy but can be causal.

As for Omega its a very cool movement, it's a first time ground breaking thats never been done by any other manufactor and that is why it also a very special time piece. and as for the second hand i must say it adds a flavor. I would think omega <15000 Gauss will probably be a collectable one day in future but we can only dream.
