"Life Itself" - A feature documentary based on Roger Ebert's memoir

For decades Roger Ebert was a big part of my cinematic experience. I didn't always like the same films he liked, but he was the first critic whose opinion I always sought out first.

His reviews were always insightful and educational, given Ebert's broad knowledge of the film genre.

Currently, there is an effort to raise funds for making a film documentary of his memoir, "Life Itself."

I think it's a worthy cause and I look forward to its release in late 2014 or early 2015.
