New Daytona owner

Received a ss Daytona black face as a gift from some longtime friends, and since it's my first Rolex I'm loving it.

It's smaller in size than my other watches (Panerai, and Omega PO XL)

Is it possible to have the dial replaced to one of the other Daytona dials? The black dial from the white gold Daytona is amazing.

Not sure how many other Rollie's I'll own, but this one is a good start

You have some generous friends...

It is possible to replace dials, but it is something that you will need to do outside any Rolex help.

The Daytona dials are not sold separately or to the general public and so sourcing one is the most difficult part.. After that any competent watchmaker can do the job..

Generous friends and nice watch. Personally, I wouldn't touch the dial. You'll pay a pretty penny to swap and the fact that you'll have a dial that doesn't belong with that model watch will lower the value, IMO. Besides, that dial looks pretty good, too.

Dial looks great, easy to read, and proper to the watch. Congrats...you have some fine friends indeed!

I think all information have been given regarding the possibility to change the dial, good luck with your quest to find one and to have the job done.

Allow me to also congratulate you on that purchase.

Congrats! The WG dial with hands will run you around $1k USD last time I checked a few years back...and as long as you retain the correct dial, it only adds to your watch's value IMO. Enjoy the Daytona!

Nice choice, I would do the same as the panda and slate dials look great and will give this watch so many different looks.
