How much are you spending on clothes?

How much do you guys spend or set aside for clothes annually?

Starting to think I spend a little too much on the clothes department.

Curious what kinda expenses other people have.

Mine is quite bad, I think I spend more on clothes then I do on watches, and I have quite a few nice watches.

Starting to think I should tone it down a notch or two.. lol.

Then again, it is my other hobby other then collecting watches.

Bah humbug, navy blazers & khaki pants...that's all you need, never go out of style, no need to change every season......120s & up worsted wool for warmer climate & regular or poplin khaki pants..........cashmere or doeskin wool for colder weather & flannel lined khaki pants!
P.S. I also work for "Curmudgeons Quarterly" no charge for advice.

Gotta replace those suits once in awhile from wear and year and dry cleaning espically if you are wearing over 120 wool.

Got some cashmere and wool blends those even need more care!

Depends... Say I need a new winter jacket, that alone will run 1000+ euro.

But jackets aside, I would estimate 300 to 600 euro / year.

I actually have no clue. I (Actually my wife) just buy clothes when needed both for work (wear suits) and casual wear. Almost all of my clothes are bought by my wife. I rarely give it a thought when I think about it. I come home and I have new shirts or ties or whatever laying on the bed. The guy I get my suits made by has my measurements so at this point I don't even pick out suits, all done by my lovely wife.

Minimal... Very very little... Tshirts, shorts, and flip flops... When it's get cold in ny I wear sweats, jeans, and north face jacket... Lol... The only suit I own is the tuxedo from my wedding

I have 5 suits, I buy a new one each year and retire the oldest. Shirts I seem to go through quickly. Shoes and ties, they seem to last a lifetime....

I think I may be the cheapest here. LOL...my wife and I will only buy if it says "SALE" and we buy mostly from outlets and rarely pay retail. So...if we were to add up the total spent on my wife, son and I...I would say less than USD 1,300 a year

I wear a loin cloth for the most time, unless I have to go to work.I made it out of wolf skin, which I killed with a flint knife some years ago.The savings are incredible, this way I can concentrate on my Rolex collecting.

Not much. I work at home, so no work clothes. Just a suit and some nice "smart-casual" stuff for occasional work-related dinners, overseas press jaunts and such. I spent more on my last Rolex than I probably have in the last 15 years on clothes. (Shoes not included).

When I was younger I spent a lot on clothes. I enjoyed shopping. Now I've got kids and home and little time or energy for anything. I've become a bargain shopper, too. My clothes are nice and generally brand names, but not too expensive. Just bought a sweet RL Polo long-sleeve knit shirt from Goodwill for $3. I'm definitely spending less than $500/year.

As I've gotten older, I buy few pieces of clothing but am willing to pay more for quality (not to be confused with "having a designer label," which often has little to do with quality).

I seek out USA-made jeans and shirts, and shoes and other kinds of clothing that's not made in China. It's a challenge, but can be done. So, I guess my yearly clothing bill, including shoes, runs maybe $600 to $800.

I used to be a major clothes-horse when I had an office job, but those days are long gone. Even then, I bought on sale whenever possible.

Trying to find clothes made in USA is like looking for a virgin in the maternity ward! Brooks Bros had some dress shirts that I use to buy in 3's ....like 3 for 175?
Since I dont work anymore I just buy cheap polo shirts at Old Navy for 8 dollars each....if I spill something on them and stain it....just throw them awasy and start over.

We actually have a Bloomingdales black card and I think you have to spend over 20k a year..
