Icon5 Rolex Books

Has anyone out there got the George Gordon Rolex book, and if so, is it worth buying if I already have the Dowling/Hess and Skeet/Urul volumes?

thanks.

Give the Gordon book a miss. The two books you have are so much better.

The book on the top righ from Hess, I checked it out from my library... it is ok...not bad..
The ones you want are the MONADANI books ... those I heard were really good and EXPENSIVE!!!

Adam, I'd go with the Mondani books too, but depends on what you're looking for. The one on the Submariner is amazing. They are little text and blah blah blah and many many pics. Great books for collecting, but less so for Rolex fact finding.

Yeah, thanks, I'm more into the words than pics really. The Dowling & Hess book is my favourite so far, some good in-depth history that suits a historian like myself. Still room for more, though.

I have The Best of Rolex Wristwatches. It's very interesting and has a lot of historical facts. My only problem with it, it's too big to carry with me everywhere I go.

Rolex Books

The Rolex Report is a great reference book to add to your library. I'm not sure about the Gordon book. I'll have a couple of the Mondani books arriving very soon!
