Surprised it is not a one-liner if that early. Great watch either way.

For some reason Rolex and batteries just don't do it for me, maybe its me but Rolex is all about the movement.

The Oysterquartz movements are terrific, real works of art. And Rolex supplies and installs free batteries for life at any RSC (although some countries' RSCs seem unaware of this). Rolex never made a better case or bracelet, either, IMO.

P.S: OP, have you seen oysterquartz.net?

Wow, you're the Quartzman! Happy to report that RSC Hong Kong still supply free batteries.

That'd be nice but not really happening, I'm afraid.

Nice dial. Is the bracelet clasp code GC? I have noticed a few early OQ models with this clasp code, but not sure why. They (integrated bracelets) don't seem to follow the standard Rolex clasp code series.

My one had gc b also for this 17000 . But two tones ones had 17013-18.gc codings sort of common for datejust n quartz models....
But l was luckily to have the words as patent & registered Swiss made more rarer n desirable....others I don't see clasp having patent prints

Yes, single liner, 5.2 mill. Actually quite hard to find single-line OQ in HK now.

Hi

Not meant to offend anyone, I love them there is just a cute ugliness about them, I would actually like a two tone.
